The conversion of an existing warehouse to form a 24,000ft² Customer Experience Centre & National Call centre proved to be a complex and challenging project, but resulted in a completed unit nominated for the East Midlands LABC Building Excellence Award 2012.

Kingspan Topdek roofs were tucked away behind a façade of Kingspan Mini micro-ribbed composite panels and Benchmark Thermatallic ACM modular rainscreen cladding all fixed to an adjustable secondary support grid installed over the existing concrete structure. Due to the irregularity of the existing façade site surveys were carried out and a two part grid system was designed to provide a suitable substructure that the rainscreen cladding required.
