This project provided a brand new fire station and innovative community safety centre, Firewise, for the Weymouth area which provides access and education to the Weymouth and West Dorset communities and is home to an interactive fire safety centre, community rooms including community IT suite, dance studio and café.

Works to this project included an undulating Alwitra membrane roof reflecting the nearby seascape and was capped to its full perimeter with powder coated aluminium fascias. The roofing was formed with a build-up of layers of ply lining and insulation of various thicknesses to produce the wave effect.

Walls were complimented by an insulated bespoke look-a-like louvre cladding system manufactured from 1.5mm thick PPC aluminium.
