The roof construction consisted of 2100m2 Keybemo aluminium standing seam mainly insulated to a 0.20w/m2 0c u-value, with a high level un-insulated feature roof with a supporting structure which penetrates the main roof below. The penetrations through the lower roof were detailed with fully welded weathering upstands to prevent weather ingress.

Walls, fascia and soffits were all detailed utilising approximately 500m2 of Ash & Lacy Freedom 1 ACM rainscreen systems, with the walls incorporating a fully lined and insulated backing system to achieve the air tightness line and a 0.27w/m2 0c u-value.

The eaves of the roof was finished with a Rheinzink gutter with gutter calculations provided by Cladding Connexions to confirm suitability of the proposed drainage system.
